Rodney Road famously has the most spectacular views in the district. Look towards the tall buildings of Auckland City over the settlement of Omaha and Whangateau Harbour, eastwards over the Hauraki Gulf and Little and Great Barrier Islands and northwards to Whangarei Heads and the offshore islands of the Hen and Chicken group.
